ABOUT US
Engineers Without Borders USA - University of Cincinnati (EWB-UC) is both a student organization at the University of Cincinnati and a chapter of EWB-USA. Our mission is to develop sustainable infrastructure while building leaders in our chapter and in the communities we impact.

Since our inception in 2004, we have completed various projects in Kenya, Tanzania, and across the United States. Our projects include the design and construction of a school, four unique water supply and distribution systems, and sanitation projects. Since our Tanzanian projects began in 2015, our systems have provided over 5,200,000 gallons of drinking water. In 2023, our chapter also adopted a new project in Rwanda, where we will collaborate with a partner community on another water project. We contributes locally through Habitat for Humanity builds, outreach to elementary and high schools, trash cleanups, and other initiatives. Every semester, more than 40 students learn how to become better engineers and global leaders while improving the lives of thousands of people.
